Get to Know HGIRL's Founder, Gable Shaikh 

Born in Dallas and raised in New York City, even from a young age Gable had an inherent love for all things beautiful. While in high school, she enrolled herself in weekend classes to study sewing and textiles and then attended college at Manhattan’s prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Dallas to pursue her career in fashion and having worked at Ralph Lauren in New York, she transitioned to their boutique in Highland Park Village.  

Gable has since co-founded Hadleigh’s, the revered luxury clothing brand she founded alongside her husband in 2009 that now is dedicated to women’s bespoke formal and bridal gowns and sartorial menswear. In addition, she has also established her signature HGIRL line that features a seasonal ready to wear collections and vibrant lifestyle brands. Gable is the creative director and designer behind every line of Hadleigh’s womenswear, as well as Hadleigh’s children’s collection, and overseeing brand development. 

The Shaikh family resides in Dallas, Texas with their three daughters, Hadleigh, Everleigh and GG, and their three dogs, Molly, Teddy and Charlie.
